Pet hair, mold, heavy soiling, bad smells. None of it costs extra. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. A heads-up is appreciated so we know what we are walking into.

What mobile actually means
The van is the shop
Mobile detailing only works if the van carries everything. Ours does, which is why a detail at your house is the same job as one in the shop rather than a lighter version of it.
Our own water
We do not need your outside tap, which matters in a flat, an apartment block or an office car park. It also means the water is filtered, so it dries without leaving spots.
Our own power
Extractors, steamers and polishers all draw real current. Running them off a household socket trips breakers, so the van generates its own.
The same equipment
Hot extractor, steamer, dual-action polishers and graded compounds. Not a shop vac and a bottle of spray, which is what a lot of mobile detailing turns out to be.
Where it does not work
Coatings and multi-day correction need controlled temperature and no dust, so those come to the shop. We will collect the car and bring it back, at no charge.

Who does the work
Tanner does. That is rather the point.
Plenty of shops list twenty or thirty different details. Tanner deliberately does not, in his words, he does not like cutting his work short. A detail means cleaning everything in the car, including the places you would never check.
He has detailed professionally since 2020, has done hundreds of vehicles, and trains every employee personally. He also will not sell you a certification, because Washington does not require one and the ones sold online are marketing badges.

Cars are most of it, not all of it
Motorhomes, travel trailers, side-by-sides, boats and forty-year-old restorations. If it has paint and an interior, it can be detailed, and the ones that will not fit on a driveway get quoted on inspection.

Before you book
Do you come to me?
Yes. Most of our work is mobile. We bring water, power and product to your home, office or job site anywhere in Clark County, WA. If detailing at your place is not practical, we will collect the vehicle and bring it back when it is finished, at no extra charge. Coatings and multi-day paint correction are better done in the shop, where temperature and dust are controlled.
How long does a full detail take?
Three to five hours for interior and exterior together, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle. If it needs shampooing or pet hair removal, plan on the five-hour end. Interior alone runs two to three hours, exterior alone an hour and a half to two, and a buff and polish adds another one to two hours on top.
Do you charge extra for pet hair, mold or a really dirty car?
No. Our prices are flat rates. Pet hair, mold, heavy soiling and bad smells cost nothing extra, the quote you are given is the price you pay. A heads-up when you book is appreciated so we know what we are walking into and can set aside enough time, but it does not change the price.
Where are you based, and how far will you travel?
We are based in Washougal, WA and cover all of Clark County, WA. We will drive up to about an hour for a big enough job, a full detail with a buff and polish, for instance, including into the Portland metro, if the schedule allows the travel time. For a smaller job that far out there is either a small travel charge or we will not be able to take it.
Do detailers need a certification?
There is no license or certification required for detailing in Washington, and the certificates sold online are marketing badges rather than qualifications. What matters is experience. Tanner has detailed professionally since 2020, 6 years, has done hundreds of vehicles, and trains every employee personally.
