Yes. Most of our work is mobile. We bring water, power and product to your home, office or job site anywhere in Clark County, WA. If detailing at your place is not practical, we will collect the vehicle and bring it back when it is finished, at no extra charge. Coatings and multi-day paint correction are better done in the shop, where temperature and dust are controlled.

Three to five hours for interior and exterior together, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle. If it needs shampooing or pet hair removal, plan on the five-hour end. Interior alone runs two to three hours, exterior alone an hour and a half to two, and a buff and polish adds another one to two hours on top.

No. Our prices are flat rates. Pet hair, mold, heavy soiling and bad smells cost nothing extra, the quote you are given is the price you pay. A heads-up when you book is appreciated so we know what we are walking into and can set aside enough time, but it does not change the price.

We are based in Washougal, WA and cover all of Clark County, WA. We will drive up to about an hour for a big enough job, a full detail with a buff and polish, for instance, including into the Portland metro, if the schedule allows the travel time. For a smaller job that far out there is either a small travel charge or we will not be able to take it.

No honest detailer will promise yes on a specific scratch without seeing it. With our most abrasive compound, oxidation, swirl marks, minor scratches and paint transferred from another vehicle usually come out. Anything you can catch a fingernail in has gone through the clear coat, and polishing cannot put clear coat back.

There is no license or certification required for detailing in Washington, and the certificates sold online are marketing badges rather than qualifications. What matters is experience. It bonds a hydrophobic layer to your paint, so water beads up and runs off instead of sitting, and road grime has less to hold on to. The car stays cleaner between washes and washing gets easier. It is not body armour. It will not stop a rock chip or a shopping trolley.

We will not. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it for the life of the coating, so sealing in swirl marks means living with them for years. Paint gets corrected first, then coated. That is why the nine-year coating is quoted alongside correction rather than on its own.

Tanner owns the business and sets the prices himself, so the number you are quoted is the number, with nothing built in on the assumption you will add to it. Tipping is a fair question in this trade because a lot of detailing is done by employees on an hourly wage, where it genuinely changes someone's day. If you want to do something beyond paying, a Google review is worth considerably more to a one-person business than twenty dollars is.

If you are keeping it, the case is comfort and protection rather than resale, and the answer is yes if the inside bothers you every time you get in, or if the paint is going to keep getting worse without correction. If the car is two years old, garaged and clean, a detail is a nice thing rather than a necessary one, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than sell you one.

Seats come forward and back, mats come out, compressed air clears the vents and seat rails, steam lifts what has soaked into fabric, and an extractor pulls the water back out so nothing is left damp. Leather is cleaned and conditioned, plastics cleaned without being left greasy, glass done last. It runs $240 to $288 depending on size, and pet hair, mold and heavy soiling are not charged extra.
