Prices are by vehicle size because bigger vehicles take longer, not because of anything else.
Mini SUV covers small crossovers and two-door trucks. Full SUV covers three-row SUVs and four-door trucks. If your vehicle sits between the two, call and we will tell you which column applies.

How the pricing works
What car detailing costs, and why
Three questions come up on almost every call. Here they are answered before you have to ask.
Why size changes the price
Detailing is priced in hours, not in square feet, and a bigger vehicle is simply more hours. A three-row SUV has roughly twice the glass of a sedan, twice the carpet, three rows of seat rails to reach under and a cargo area that has usually been carrying something.
That is the whole reason for the three columns. It is not a premium for owning a truck. The difference between a sedan and a full SUV on a full detail is $48, which is about what the extra time actually costs.
Why condition changes it only once
One thing on this page is quoted as a range rather than a number: two-step paint correction. That is because the work depends on how much clear coat has to come off to reach the finish you are after, and nobody can know that without seeing the paint in daylight.
Everything else is a flat rate. A car that has been sitting for a year costs the same as one detailed last month. The condition changes how long we are there, not what you pay.
What is not in the number
Nothing is added at the end, but two things sit outside the table. Boats and RVs are quoted on inspection, because their size and condition vary too much for a flat rate to be honest. And a job more than about an hour outside Clark County, WA may carry a small travel charge if it is a short job.
There is no deposit on anything except the all-inclusive package, which takes $200 up front because it books two to three days of the calendar.
How our prices compare
A full interior and exterior detail in the Vancouver, WA area generally runs somewhere between $200 and $500 depending on who does it and how thoroughly. Ours sits at $360 to $408 and includes the things that are usually sold as extras elsewhere: pet hair, stain removal, clay decontamination and a sealant. The cheapest quote in town is usually cheap because it is a wash with a vacuum, which is a fine thing to buy as long as you know that is what you are buying.

Boats and RVs are quoted on inspection rather than from the table. Their size and condition vary far too much for a flat rate to be honest, so we look first and then give you a number. Send over the details and we will come back with one.

How much does it cost to detail a car in Vancouver, WA?
A full detail, inside and out, is $360 for a sedan, $390 for a mini SUV and $408 for a full-size SUV or four-door truck. Inside only starts at $240, outside only at $138. Those are the prices rather than estimates: the whole list is published, nothing is re-quoted on arrival, and a filthy car costs the same as a tidy one of the same size.
How long does a full detail take?
Three to five hours for interior and exterior together, depending on the size and condition of the vehicle. If it needs shampooing or pet hair removal, plan on the five-hour end. Interior alone runs two to three hours, exterior alone an hour and a half to two, and a buff and polish adds another one to two hours on top.
Do you charge extra for pet hair, mold or a really dirty car?
No. Our prices are flat rates. Pet hair, mold, heavy soiling and bad smells cost nothing extra, the quote you are given is the price you pay. A heads-up when you book is appreciated so we know what we are walking into and can set aside enough time, but it does not change the price.
Will a buff and polish get my scratches out?
No honest detailer will promise yes on a specific scratch without seeing it. With our most abrasive compound, oxidation, swirl marks, minor scratches and paint transferred from another vehicle usually come out. Anything you can catch a fingernail in has gone through the clear coat, and polishing cannot put clear coat back.
Do you have a deal for more than one vehicle?
Yes. Book two or more vehicles together and each one drops $15.

What vehicles do you work on?
Cars, trucks, SUVs, minivans, motorcycles, RVs and boats. Pricing is by size, so a sedan and a three-row SUV are quoted differently, and RVs and boats are quoted on inspection.
How much should I tip for a car detail?
Not here, and it is worth saying plainly because people ask. Tanner owns the business and sets the prices himself, so the number you are quoted is the number, with nothing built in on the assumption you will add to it. Tipping is a fair question in this trade because a lot of detailing is done by employees on an hourly wage, where it genuinely changes someone's day. If you want to do something beyond paying, a Google review is worth considerably more to a one-person business than twenty dollars is.
Are car detailers worth it?
Honestly, it depends what you are buying it for. If you are selling the car, yes, almost always: a full detail is $360 to $408 and it moves both what a buyer offers and how quickly. If you are keeping it, the case is comfort and protection rather than resale, and the answer is yes if the inside bothers you every time you get in, or if the paint is going to keep getting worse without correction. If the car is two years old, garaged and clean, a detail is a nice thing rather than a necessary one, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than sell you one.
What is interior detailing, exactly?
Cleaning every surface inside the car by hand, rather than vacuuming the carpets and wiping the dash. Seats come forward and back, mats come out, compressed air clears the vents and seat rails, steam lifts what has soaked into fabric, and an extractor pulls the water back out so nothing is left damp. Leather is cleaned and conditioned, plastics cleaned without being left greasy, glass done last. It runs $240 to $288 depending on size, and pet hair, mold and heavy soiling are not charged extra.
